Custom Printed Greaseproof Paper Buying Guide

Importers, restaurant groups and food brands should define the food application before comparing quotations. Burger wraps, tray liners, bakery sheets and takeaway packaging can require different paper weights, sizes and print coverage.

1. Specify the food and format

State whether the paper will contact burgers, fried food, pastries or cold food. Confirm sheet, roll or die-cut format, finished dimensions and whether white or kraft appearance is preferred.

2. Confirm paper weight and grease resistance

Ask the supplier to recommend GSM and barrier performance for the expected oil level and holding time. A sample test with the real food product is more useful than selecting by GSM alone.

3. Prepare print artwork

Send vector artwork, brand colors, print coverage and repeat pattern requirements. Confirm whether ink, paper and intended use meet the buyer's destination-market requirements.

4. Compare MOQ, samples and packing

Request sample options, production MOQ, lead time, carton quantity, carton dimensions and export packing. These details affect landed cost and warehouse planning.
